The Innovation of the Year Award celebrates the bravest and visionary startups that were exhibited at Vivatech 2025. The award that reveals the award honors the borders and the redefinition of industries. Startups were evaluated in innovation and creativity, market disorders and scalability. The short list of hundreds of applicants made 30.
The top 5 will be recorded in Vivatech on June 11th, and the winner will be announced on June 12 at the Vivatech Global Awards ceremony. The price? A pitch slot at the ceremony, a free start-up corner at Vivatech 2026 and a coveted place in the Ai Technologia startup Battlefield 200. This award not only recognizes great ideas, but also the teams that transform courageous visions into boppy visions into playful realities.
This year’s applicant blew us. From the conversion of GLALER into self-driving blind dogs to the construction of photonic chips that could redefine computing, to the conversion of mining waste into carbon sink diese short list is full of groundbreaking thinking with real inserts. We saw Microrobot swarms for space research, AI, which reads her mind to control devices and bioelectronic implants that are fighting against brain cancer.
These startups drive science, design and engineering to new heights, especially in areas such as sustainability, interfaces of humans, advanced diagnostics and accessible healthcare. What noticed the most was the boldness. These teams not only solve problems – they are building up the future. The selection of five finalists – let alone a winner – will be incredibly difficult. Every startup in this top 30 has already earned serious boast rights.
